Corona Blu

Costa Diadema’s large buffet restaurant on deck 10 is an explosion of colours and flavours. This new buffet is designed to be comfortable and practical. Guests can have breakfast, meals and snacks here at any time of the day. The Focacceria and the Grill mean that there really is something for everyone. In the evening it’s the perfect place for a more informal dinner.

Adularia Restaurant

The Adularia Restaurant stretches along the whole of deck 3. The golden colours are decorated with details in mother-of-pearl. The large windows allow the light in at sundown, creating the perfect mood for dinner.

Fiorentino Restaurant

In the Fiorentino Restaurant towards the stern on decks 3 and 4, the colours reflect the shades of the sea that the restaurant looks out over. Take a seat and enjoy the view of the ship’s wake at sundown.

Teppanyaki Restaurant

For those looking for a different kind of evening, come to Teppanyaki, an Oriental-style lounge-restaurant. Here our chefs will make delicious griddled dishes all prepared with acrobatic skill. The whole experience is calming, as guests sit around the table with a chef in the middle who prepares the dishes to order.

Pizzeria

Going for a pizza is a fun and informal way for guests to enjoy their time on Costa Diadema. Just sit back and enjoy pizza, just like in the best Italian pizzerias, with the special treat of some excellent live music too. Guests are sure to have a great time with the whole family as the pizza makers prepare the hot, crisp pizza. Guests can even enjoy your food outdoors looking out over the sea.

Cream Parlour

Every moment has a new flavour and it always tastes good when in the Ice Cream Parlour. It’s a feast for the eyes on deck 5, towards the bow of the ship. Here sweet-toothed dreams come true as guests are invited to choose ice cream amidst delicious surroundings of multicoloured sweets and a chocolate fountain in the middle of the room.

Dresden Green Pub

Sitting in a genuine German pub while out at sea is just one of the extraordinary experiences in store for guests on Costa Diadema. With its wooden furniture, open beams, barrels and copper tanks holding craft beer, the Dresden Green Pub is the ideal setting to raise a toast with friends. Guests can enjoy their favourite lager or bitter on deck 5 too, in the open air looking out over the sea.

Bollicine Bar

On Costa Diadema everything shines, especially the Bollicine Bar. It’s a sophisticated, bright bar, where the shimmering glass that decorates the surroundings is as bubbly as the superb drinks that are served. It’s also the perfect place to raise a toast to the holiday or to celebrate a special occasion. The barmen never fails to tempt guests with cocktails of the day that they can enjoy sitting outside looking out over the sea.

Gran Duca di Toscana Wine Bar

Unique, unimaginable experiences for the senses. Selected wines by the bottle or served on tap at the perfect temperature. The very best Italian and French wines, served with cheese and tasty snacks from all over the world. It’s the ideal place for pre-dinner drinks in the best company.

Teodora Bar

Towards the stern on deck 5 guests will find the Teodora Bar, with tables and armchairs lining a large dancefloor, for nights of Latin American music. Here they can relax between one song and the next with a cocktail in hand in the perfect setting. But there’s more, the Teodora lounge opens out onto a square overlooking the sea at the stern of deck 5, from where guests can watch the ship’s wake to a rhythmic beat.

Pietra di Luna Disco

The night comes alive at the disco on decks 11 and 12, where the flashing lights and bright colours are joined by the moon’s rays reflecting off the sea. Guests are invited to get their dancing shoes on and boogie the night away to all the latest hits.

Orlov Grand Bar

The Orlov Grand Bar has a wonderful ’50s feel to it. Warm colours alternate with mother-of-pearl and light woods, bringing out the touch of pink in the decorated ceiling, creating the perfect mood for drinks with friends. What makes it even more special is the stage for live shows. Just sit back and relax, and enjoy performances by talented international artists. On Costa Diadema every moment is an event.

Emerald Theatre

Just like a jewel, the surfaces of the Emerald theatre reflect the light and make the furnishings sparkle – furnishings decorated with details of precious stones. Spread out over three decks, Costa Diadema’s glittering theatre is waiting to put on its spectacular shows with international dancers, singers and artists. Every evening the large stage will show guests a different kind of magic that will make every day on-board, unique.

Country Rock Club

The Country Rock Club is the place to be for the real spirit of America and for the best live country rock music. Disabled Facilities

Those with mobility issues are required to travel with an accompanying person or their own wheelchair. A limited number of wheelchairs is available on our ships for any emergencies. These are only approved for use on board the ship. All our ships have a number of dedicated and fully equipped cabins which are free of architectural barriers. They include priority boarding and disembarkation and a dedicated lift for emergencies.

Costa Cruises wishes to satisfy the needs of all those who want to experience a cruise but who have special needs, mobility problems, visual impairments or other disabilities. International regulations require the Company to be aware of any “needs for personal assistance in the case of emergency” (wheelchairs, etc.) of its guests in order to make the necessary arrangements. This information must be provided through the travel agent or directly to Costa Cruises and again on boarding. We recommend that guests with special needs who require special medical assistance and/or equipment travel with a companion and inform the travel agent or Costa Cruises when booking of the dimensions of the any equipment necessary, e.g. a wheelchair. Costa Cruises must be informed of this when making the booking.

It will be our pleasure to offer the “cruise only” section of trips free of charge to companions, provided that they travel in the same cabin as special needs guests. To obtain a free cruise ticket for companions, Costa Cruises must be informed by the Guest at the time of the booking confirmation. Costa Cruises must receive all the necessary documentation within three working days of confirmation. Guests travelling with a companion will be given a cabin for people with special needs. Companions will be carried free of charge until all special needs cabins are filled, however the Family Value promotion is not valid. If three or four adult Guests are making the booking, the companion will be assigned the third or fourth bed free of charge. 

If a Family Value booking is made a supplement of 50% of the adult fare will be applied for the third or fourth bed. We would also like to remind you that in some ports disembarking may be problematic for Guests with motor problems, especially offshore. Our ships have several cabins equipped for disabled guests, which are marked with a letter H on the ship plans on the following pages. Special Dietary Requirements

These can be catered for if requested and agreed on when booking. Guests can indicate their special dietary needs – diabetic, gluten-free or other types of allergies/intolerances. Special dietary needs can only be safely catered for in the Main Restaurant.

To ensure that the service operates efficiently, please reconfirm your requirements with Customer Service when you board. Should passengers bring dietary items with them from home, the on board Maitre must be informed immediately after boarding, so that the necessary food preparation arrangements can be made.

Dress Code

During the cruise, you are free to dress as you wish: the atmosphere on board is informal and casual. Clothing must however be suited to the environment, season, destination or occasion, such as a gala dinner or an excursion. A jacket or shawl is always advisable.

For daytime activities, we suggest casual clothing/sportswear and comfortable shoes. You should bring a sweater or jacket as temperatures may vary greatly between air-conditioned areas and the outside. During each cruise, there will be gala evenings for which elegant dress is recommended. “Today” (the daily programme of onboard activities) offers suggestions on appropriate evening dress, whether casual or formal. For shore excursions, we suggest casual clothing/sportswear and comfortable shoes. It is advisable to wear suitable clothing for any religious sites visited. For hygiene reasons it is essential that you have a pair of trainers exclusively for use in the gym, as well as suitable clothing. If you do not, you will be refused entry. Towels will be provided in the cabin free of charge for use at sunbeds and swimming pools, the showers in the gym, the spa and to take ashore with you on beach excursions.

Age Restrictions

Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. On selected seasonal departures, Guests 21 to 24 years old must have one person at least 25 years old in the same stateroom, who shall be responsible for the under age 25 year old Guest. Guests who are responsible for the supervision of under-age Guests shall ensure that they do not purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages or violate any other shipboard regulation. The minimum drinking age on-board is 21 years old for cruises departing from U.S. ports and 18 years old for cruises departing from non-U.S. ports. Guests under the age of 18 may not play in the on board casino or use any spa facilities and must be accompanied by a person over 18 on shore excursions. The Guest’s age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise.

Smoking Policy

Smoking cigarettes, cigars and pipes is not permitted on board, except in the “Cigar Lounge” area. Electronic cigarettes may only be used cabins and in the “Cigar Lounge” area. In public areas outdoors smoking is only allowed in specially designated areas that have ashtrays. We would like to remind you that smoking is not permitted in cabins, but only outside on private balconies. To avoid the risk of fire, cigarettes must be extinguished and left in the ashtrays provided and never thrown overboard when they are still lit. We would also like to remind you that on board the ships Costa Mediterranea, Costa Classica, Costa Atlantica and Costa Victoria there are no indoor smoking areas.

Gratuities: The service charge – which is calculated on a daily basis according to the length of the cruise, the destination and the ship – is charged by Costa at the end of the cruise and paid over entirely to the staff who provide the hotel services onboard.
