Main Dining

GOURMET COURSES

In the Main Dining Room, you can experience flavors that take you from Jamaica to Jaipur, a rotating menu of delicious dishes always offering something unexpected. A multi-level restaurant that in the morning is the perfect spot to enjoy a hearty brunch paired with refreshing mimosas, at dinnertime transforms into a world class dining experience with a menu that invites you to taste your way around the world course by course.

ATTIRE

Smart Casual

MENU HIGHLIGHTS

Many of the dishes on the Main Dining Room’s menu rotate each night, which means you could go an entire week without ever repeating a course. Every meal here begins with something delicious from the starters section of the menu — like savory duck terrine layered with apricot chutney on toasted sourdough bread, a flaky Vidalia onion tart baked with whipped eggs, cream, and smoked bacon, or spiced eggplant and Kalamata olive tartare prepared with red pepper hummus and served on crispy garlic bread. Then, choose from international entrees like Moroccan spiced ahi tuna served over mint couscous, sautéed spinach and tequila peppers with a cool yogurt vinaigrette. Or mojo-marinated bone-in pork loin paired with sweet potatoes, broccoli and a cumin-citrus reduction. Dessert is also worth getting excited about, with options like sweet cream-soaked tres leches, home-style carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and a light and fluffy Grand Marnier soufflé.

NOTE

Food offerings may differ by ship and sailing.

PRO TIP

The food in the Main Dining Room is complimentary, and you can order as many courses as you like.

Johnny Rocket’s®

BOLD FLAVORS, FLASHBACK VIBES

Johnny Rockets® has been serving up delicious American fare to diners around the world since 1986. Its menu features fresh, never frozen, made-to-order hamburgers, sides, shakes and desserts. No matter where you are onboard or in the world, you’re always surrounded by good food and simple pleasures at this retro hangout.

ATTIRE

Casual

MENU HIGHLIGHTS

If you’re dropping in with friends for a shareable snack, it doesn’t get better than a double order of Johnny Rockets® famous fries. Ask for them plain or go all out with cheese and bacon on top. As far as burgers go, you can’t go wrong with the Original, served with lettuce, tomatoes, chopped onions, pickles, mustard, relish and mayo. But there’s also the Smoke House, loaded with bacon, onion rings, cheddar cheese, and Smoke House BBQ ranch. And the Spicy Houston, flavored with jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, and the house Smokin’ Chipotle Ranch sauce. All the milkshakes here are heavenly, of course, but we’re partial to the Oreo® Cookies & Cream version.

PRO TIP

If you want to mix and match two milkshake flavors, just ask the staff if they can make it happen..

Windjammer Cafe

TASTE YOUR WAY AROUND THE WORLD

The Windjammer is your go-to restaurant for tantalising global flavours served as complimentary. Like just-pressed paninis packed with all your favourite meats and cheeses. Flaky pastries fresh from the oven and omelettes however you like them. And hearty mains that run the gamut from crispy buttermilk fried chicken to Vietnamese braised Ho Chi Minh pork.

ATTIRE

Casual

MENU HIGHLIGHTS

Whatever kind of dish you’re in the mood for, you’ll find something tasty worth trying at the Windjammer. Pop in during the morning for scrambled egg Bhurji served with roti, or home-style crispy chicken and waffles. Refuel in between adventures with a refreshing watermelon and feta salad or classic fish and chips. Or sample your way from Italy to India with dishes like traditional chicken marsala, savoury pork vindaloo, tangy duck a l’Orange and flavourful Caribbean goat curry.

PRO TIP

There are plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options offered.

Cafe Promenade

CAFÉ ALL DAY

When it comes to quick and easy come-and-go eats, there’s no better place than Café Promenade. This casual, complimentary hotspot bustles 24 hours a day, so you can drop by any time — whether it’s for a steaming cup of coffee and a warm glazed cinnamon bun in the morning, or late-night bites like fried artichoke, spicy marinated cheese, and savory meatballs from behind the counter after working up an appetite on the dance floor.

ATTIRE

Casual

MENU HIGHLIGHTS

If you’re looking for a satisfying way to start your day, pair a cup of rich Royal Roast with a flaky croissandwich — stuffed with deli meats and crisp lettuce — or your favorite breakfast pastry. At lunchtime, it’s all about the flavorful chicken roti wrap and the New Orleans-style muffuletta, piled high with cold cuts and cheese. If you love a good antipasti platter, try the prosciutto with melon combo, or the pesto-grilled tomato. And if you have a sweet tooth, the decadent Mudcakes, creamy Willy Wonka pies, and fluffy round Led Zeppoles will make you come back for seconds.

PRO TIP

Some sandwiches, antipasti and desserts rotate daily, so stop by often to see what’s new.

Chops Grille℠

CLASSIC AMERICAN STEAKHOUSE

For over a decade, the chefs at Chops Grille have proudly presented quality, hand-cut steaks at this hallmark Royal Caribbean restaurant. Now, they give you a fresh twist on a favourite, with a revamped menu that brings contemporary flair to traditional steakhouse offerings. Most intriguing: our exceptional prime meat. This prime beef is joined by Maine lobster, grilled branzino and other succulent dishes paired with addictive side dishes and irresistible desserts.

ATTIRE

Smart Casual

INSIDER TIP

Open for lunch on sea days only.

MENU HIGHLIGHTS

The best way to begin a meal at Chops Grille is with the charred beef carpaccio, sliced thin and served rare with fresh arugula, Parmesan cheese, and truffle mustard dressing. If you’re a seafood lover, upgrade your menu with one of the restaurant’s chilled seafood towers — each comes with jumbo shrimp, green-lipped mussels, clams, Jonah crab claws, and Maine lobster. As far as entrees go, the tender filet is one of the most popular items on the menu. If nine ounces is a bit too much for you, opt for the smaller 6-ounce petite filet — it packs in just as much flavor as the standard cut. If you’re a traditionalist, complement your meal with an order of steaming Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, or change things up with Chops’ signature gruyere cheese tater tots and truffled French fries. And don’t forget to save room for a refreshing slice of tart key lime meringue pie or classic New York cheesecake, served with raspberries and lemon confit.

PRO TIP

The chefs at Chops Grille will hand cut, season, and grill each steak to your specifications. When in doubt, don’t be afraid to ask for the chef’s recommendation.

Chef’s Table

ATTIRE

Formal

NOTE

Available on select sailings.

MENU HIGHLIGHTS

Start your meal with the Scallop carpaccio, served with yuzu vinaigrette and crispy quinoa. Then transition to the Smoked tomato soup, sprinkled with garlic focaccia croutons and parmesan. Seafood lovers rave about the Maine lobster salad, flavored with pineapple, cilantro, and vanilla dressing, and the Roasted branzino paired with grilled vegetables and lemon confit. Blending peanut butter ganache, Valrhona chocolate mousse, and salted caramel gelato, our signature dessert, The world, is the ultimate sweet ending.

PRO TIP

Each dish is paired with a somm-selected glass of premium red or white wine.

Dog House

CRAFTED HOT DOGS WITH A TWIST

Everybody loves a great hot dog. Some like theirs served the classic way — between toasted buns with a drizzle of mustard, ketchup and relish. Others prefer theirs course-ground and sprinkled with sauerkraut, Old-World style. And some like hot dogs crafted with a creative twist — like a chicken sausage flavored with juicy apple. Whatever kind of foot long you fancy, Dog House serves up the best sausages at sea.

ATTIRE

Casual

MENU HIGHLIGHTS

If you’re a traditionalist, go for the Coney Island dog, made with classic american beef. Or opt for authentic old world flavor with a German thuringer made from finely minced pork. Want to change things up? Try The big apple, a chicken sausage cooked with apple for a subtle burst of sweetness. Or bite into The Smoke house, a pork bratwurst seasoned with traditional spices for just a hint of heat. No matter which sausage (or sausages) you choose, they all pair perfectly with a side of home-style potato salad or refreshing coleslaw..

PRO TIP

Customize your hot dog at Dog House with a wide variety of condiments and toppings — all available self-serve.

NOTE

HOW TO RESERVE

Cruise Planner or Onboard

MENU HIGHLIGHTS

The best way to kick off your dining experience at Izumi Hibachi & Sushi is with a few appetizers from the main menu. The shrimp firecracker spring roll is a must-try if you like a little spice — sambal chili brings the heat while cool cream cheese softens the bite. If you love sushi, you’ll have plenty of rolls to choose from. One of the most imaginative from the signature sushi list spotlights blanched lobster and avocado in a refreshing champagne sauce, all rolled up in a yuzu fruit wrap. And no visit is complete without some selections from the teppanyaki menu, which include chicken breast, beef tenderloin, sea scallops, lobster, NY steak, and tiger shrimp. PRO TIP

If you’re dining with someone else, mix and match between teppanyaki options and selections from the extensive sushi list. That way, you can each try a little bit of everything.

Any guest wishing to purchase an alcoholic beverage package must do so for all guests of legal drinking age in the same stateroom, for sailings on or after December 31st, 2017.

All other beverage packages can be purchased by individual guests, however all packages are for single guest use and cannot be shared by multiple people.

The Water Package is an option for guests sailing with Royal Caribbean to order water in various package sizes at a discounted price. The Water Package will be delivered to your stateroom on the date you request. You can choose between 12 or 24 one liter bottled water packages.

The fountain soda package entitles you to unlimited refills at any of our bars or lounges, Windjammer Café, Main Dining room, and our private destinations. A complimentary Coca-Cola® souvenir cup is included as part of every fountain soda package. The cost of a fountain soda package is determined by the length of your stay, with an average daily cost of $8 plus gratuity. If you lose your Coca-Cola® souvenir cup, you’ll need to reach out to the bar manager or assistant bar manager and purchase a new souvenir cup for $9.95.

The Coca-Cola Freestyle machines require the Coca-Cola souvenir cup to operate. Souvenir glassware is excluded from the all inclusive beverage packages.

Service Animals

Royal Caribbean International welcomes service dogs on all ships.* Please note we do not accept pets.

A service dog is defined as ‘any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability’. Service dogs are not considered pets.

Evidence that a dog is a service dog is helpful but not required (such as identification cards, other written documentation, presence of harnesses and/or tags or the credible verbal assurance of the person with a disability using the dog).

We provide 1.2 metres by 1.2 metres (4 feet by 4 feet) relief areas with cypress mulch to accommodate service dogs. Sod for sailings from the U.S. can be provided if ordered in advance and is available. Relief areas are provided on a shared basis with other service dogs onboard. Please note that Central Park on OasisSM class ships is not designated as a relief area.

Please notify our Access Department at time of booking but no later than 30 days prior to sailing if a service dog relief area is needed.

Service dogs are permitted to accompany the person with a disability in all public areas, including dining venues. While in public areas, service dogs must be on a leash, harness or another restraining device. Due to health regulations, service dogs are not permitted in pools, whirlpools or spas.

Care and supervision of the service dog is the sole responsibility of the owner. The ships are not required to provide food or care for the dog.

Guests may bring a reasonable quantity of food and bowls for the dog onboard the ship at no additional charge. If refrigerated space is needed, notify our Access Department at the time of booking but no later than 30 days prior to sailing.

If the guest chooses to disembark the ship at a port at which the service dog must remain onboard, the guest must make arrangements to ensure that the dog is cared for. Note that the ship’s staff is not required to care for the dog, nor can the dog be left in the stateroom unattended.

Pregnancy

Royal Caribbean International cannot accept guests who will be more than 23 weeks pregnant at any time during the cruise or CruiseTour.

The Guest and treating physician should consider before any cruise that there is no Obstetrician/Gynecologist available on the ship, and that pregnancies, when unstable and poorly controlled, are potentially life-threatening, especially without back up. A Guest may be at sea for several days without any immediate hospital and/or specialist back up, and that since the proposed itinerary is not within the U.S., and the availability of specialized shore side facilities can be problematic.

All guests are required to fill out a Public Health Questionnaire prior to arrival or at the pier attesting that they are not more than 23 weeks pregnant. If you have already booked a cruise or cruise tour and do not meet this requirement, please contact your Travel Advisor or call us at (866) 562-7625 and request a Resolution Agent.

Medical Facilities

We have a minimum of one fully licensed doctor, and a minimum of two licensed nurses onboard every ship.

Every Royal Caribbean ship offers limited professional medical services through licensed (international or domestic) physicians and nurses. All Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. ships have shipboard medical facilities that are built, staffed, stocked and equipped to meet or exceed guidelines established by the American College of Emergency Physicians Cruise Ship & Maritime Medicine Section.

Depending on the size of the ship and number of passengers and Crew members, each RCL ship has one to three doctors and three-to-five Nurses, available to passengers and Crew members 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our medical facilities are stocked with a variety of equipment, including cardiac monitors, automated external defibrillators, ventilators, x-ray machines and processors, laboratory equipment, a formulary of acute care medications and a variety of minor surgical and orthopedic supplies. Our doctors also have access to online informational sources and 24-hour support from shore side medical professionals for additional assistance. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. also requires all doctors and nurses to maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training. In responding to medical emergencies, our goal is to first stabilize emergency patients and, where indicated, evacuate the patient to an appropriately equipped and staffed shore side medical facility as soon as practical.

Guests treated on board may request copies of their medical records by faxing a completed request form to 786-264-9682.

Gratuities: The automatic service gratuity is $14.50 USD per person, per day for guests in Junior Suites and below, or $17.50 USD per person, per day for guests in Grand Suites and above, applied to each guest’s SeaPass account on a daily basis. The gratuity applies to individual guests of all ages and stateroom categories. As a way to reward our crew members for their outstanding service, gratuities are shared among dining, bar & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants and other hotel services teams who work behind the scenes to enhance the cruise experience. In the unlikely event that a guest onboard being charged the daily automatic gratuity does not receive satisfactory service, the guest may request to modify the daily amount at their discretion by visiting Guest Services onboard and will be able to do so until the morning of their departure. Guests who have pre-paid their gratuity will not see a daily charge during their cruise. The automatic daily gratuity is based on customary industry standards. Applying this charge automatically helps streamline the recognition process for the crew members that work to enhance your cruise. We hope you find the gratuity to be an accurate reflection of your satisfaction and thank you for your generous recognition of our staff. A 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverages, mini bar items, and spa & salon purchases. If gratuities are not prepaid prior to sailing, they will be automatically added to the guests’ folios once onboard. *Pre-paid gratuities can be added to an individual reservation at any time outside of 48 hours of the sail date.
